About the Role
YETI creates outdoor gear designed to help people make the most of their adventures, and this role supports that mission by serving specialty dealers in the wholesale business. The Inside Sales Representative I partners with sales colleagues and internal teams to deliver dependable service, smooth account handling, and effective sales execution across assigned accounts.
This is a strong fit for someone at the beginning of a sales career who enjoys a busy environment, works well with customers, and wants exposure to a range of industries and use cases. Experience in the Sport, Outdoor, or Home & Hospitality space is especially appreciated.
Inside Sales and Customer Support
- Act as a primary inside sales contact for specialty dealers and provide prompt, professional assistance.
- Support selected outside sales efforts, such as outbound communication to assigned accounts, event representation, and occasional customer visits, under direction from sales leadership.
- Help Sales Representatives manage everyday account needs and sales-related tasks.
- Represent the YETI brand in a clear, consistent way that strengthens customer relationships.
- Handle inbound phone calls and emails, making sure questions and issues are addressed without delay.
- Share accurate details about product availability, assortment options, purchase order placement, order progress, backorders, fulfillment timing, account balances, block management, credit standing, product questions, and warranty concerns.
- Communicate backorder updates and present approved substitute products when instructed.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers across assigned territories and accounts.
Operational Support and Execution
- Help identify and resolve order or account problems that could affect revenue or dealer satisfaction, escalating issues when needed.
- Track assigned case queues and follow established procedures to meet service expectations.
- Assist with reporting tied to credit blocks, order issues, and customer inquiries.
- Share phone coverage duties and help balance workload based on business demands.
- Support accounts with added operational complexity, including EDI-related work, with guidance from more experienced team members.
Collaboration and Teamwork
- Work closely with peers, Sales Representatives, and other internal partners to keep execution running smoothly.
- Take part in cross-functional projects or initiatives as assigned.
- Follow existing processes and contribute ideas that improve efficiency or enhance the customer experience.
What You Bring
You should bring entry-level inside sales, customer service, or sales support experience, or have equivalent transferable experience. Strong attention to detail, the ability to juggle multiple priorities, and comfort using systems and tools to support sales operations are important. A background or strong interest in the Sport, Outdoor, or Home & Hospitality industries is a plus.
You should also be a reliable teammate who shows up consistently for colleagues and sales partners, be open to learning and feedback, and communicate professionally with a customer-first approach. The preferred background includes 0 to 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer experience, or sales operations, along with exposure to consumer, lifestyle, or B2B sales settings.
