Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Supervisor for IT Project Management Office (PMO) and IT Service Management (ITSM) to direct and control the organization's IT project portfolio and service operations. This leader will be responsible for project governance, change and IT governance management, vendor relations, service delivery, operational excellence, and ongoing enhancements. Strong leadership, proficient stakeholder management, and alignment of IT initiatives with business goals and governance frameworks are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead the IT Project Management Office, ensuring successful governance and execution of enterprise projects.
  • Track and manage project timelines, budgets, risks, resource allocation, and milestones.
  • Generate executive dashboards, portfolio analyses, and objective project performance reports.
  • Establish and enforce consistent project governance methodologies and standards.
  • Manage IT Service Management operations, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, and SLA management processes.
  • Monitor IT service performance metrics and drive continual service improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements and promote operational excellence across IT support divisions.
  • Guide IT governance practices and supervise change management procedures, ensuring adherence to organizational policies, regulatory mandates, and audit requirements.
  • Lead governance, risk, and compliance efforts and prepare for both internal and external audits.
  • Manage vendor partnerships and contracts, monitor supplier performance against agreements, and coordinate service improvements and escalations.
  • Support IT financial planning, budgeting, cost control, and resource utilization to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and lead teams within the PMO and Service Management to foster collaboration across infrastructure, cybersecurity, application, and business units.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and executive leadership, promoting continuous improvement and IT operational maturity.

Qualifications and Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of IT Project Management Office practices and frameworks.
  • Expertise in IT Service Management and ITIL methodologies.
  • Proficiency with IT Governance, Change Management, and Project Portfolio Management.
  • Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, service contracts, and third-party service delivery.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting capabilities.
  • High-level communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to concurrently manage multiple complex projects in a dynamic environment.

Experience & Certifications

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years progressive experience in IT Project Management, ITSM, PMO, or IT Governance roles.
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role managing teams.
  • Experience in IT financial oversight including budgeting, contract administration, and resource coordination.
  • Hands-on expertise with enterprise ITSM and Project Portfolio Management tools.
  • Mandatory or highly recommended certifications include ITIL 4 Foundation.
  • Preferred additional certifications: PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, COBIT Foundation, ISO/IEC 20000 (Foundation, Implementer, Auditor).
