Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Audit Analyst to join a prestigious banking institution's Technology Assurance projects. This role requires expertise in IT audit alongside risk assessment within technological environments.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or closely related fields.
- At least two years of pertinent experience in Big 4 audit firms, financial services, banking, or IT sectors.
- Proven ability in conducting IT application audits and evaluating IT risks.
- Strong familiarity with IT control systems across various operating systems and database platforms.
- Self-driven, capable of independent work, coupled with proficient communication skills.
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments, deadline-oriented, and meticulous with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to operate effectively both autonomously and within team settings.
Preferred Skills
- Experience applying data analytics techniques for IT audit or assurance activities.
- Knowledge of the Monetary Authority of Singapore's Technology Risk Management standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute IT General Control tests according to established assurance methodologies to gauge the sufficiency and efficiency of internal controls related to operational risks.
- Utilize diverse information sources and sound judgment grounded in business understanding to identify critical risks and develop tests assessing the design and performance of risk-mitigating controls.
- Work collaboratively with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams in integrated assurance reviews to contribute to team objectives supporting business and functional strategies.
- Engage proactively with technology risk teams and internal stakeholders, employing varied strategies to gather information for risk assessment, issue resolution, and task completion.
- Facilitate knowledge exchange within teams through active participation.
- Support ad hoc assignments and special projects as needed.
- Be prepared for assignments involving job rotation as opportunities arise.
