Job description

About amika

amika is a bold haircare brand born and raised in Brooklyn, dedicated to supporting all hair types and the professionals who care for them. Our products are formulated with clinically effective ingredients and infused with sea buckthorn, a superfruit rich in omegas that nourishes skin, scalp, and hair. As a certified B-Corp, we are committed to sustainability, using responsibly sourced components, recyclable packaging, and energy-efficient production processes aiming for Net Zero emissions by 2030.

Understanding the vital role hairstylists play, we view them as part of our community and strive to empower self-expression and joy through our haircare offerings. Our inclusive motto is "all hair is welcome™."

  • Maintain daily communications and timely responses with influencers across various platforms.
  • Assist in planning, managing, and executing mail campaigns for amika’s marketing initiatives, including coordinating design submissions, creating targeted influencer lists, managing shipping logistics, and tracking campaign results.
  • Provide administrative support including managing influencer and VIP product sendouts, organizing the product closet, order fulfillment, and invoice processing.
  • Support monthly reporting and tracking of key performance indicators related to influencer initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze leading influencer strategies, events, mailers, and trends to integrate best practices into amika’s brand approach.
  • Collaborate effectively across social media, paid media, brand marketing, e-commerce, and creative teams to meet organizational goals.

  • Strong proficiency with influencer tools such as Tribe Dynamics, CreatorIQ, TYB, or equivalents.
  • Passion for and insight into the beauty sector and influencer marketing trends.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills with attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
  • Quick learner with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working both collaboratively and autonomously.
