Job description
About the Role
Join Okta to play a pivotal role in securing identity in the age of AI by leading and scaling our influencer and brand partnership initiatives. As part of the Brand Strategy team, you will manage high-impact brand partnerships and develop our inaugural paid creator program, integrating these efforts into comprehensive campaigns rather than one-off projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead concept development, content creation, landing pages, paid promotion, and partner distribution for brand partnerships.
- Collaborate on amplification and distribution strategies with partners continuously.
- Work alongside Field and Events teams to ensure partnerships' hospitality and experiential activities reflect and promote the brand message effectively.
- Establish and expand a creator program with a balanced mix of micro, mid-tier, and larger-scale creators to operate as an ongoing media channel.
- Define the program structure including creator tiers, content cadence, and budgeting, evolving it based on performance insights.
- Select and manage a creator or influencer agency partner, overseeing briefings, content development, and promotion of top-performing content.
- Align creator and partnership content with brand voice and broader marketing objectives through collaboration with Demand Generation and Communications teams.
- Ensure brand consistency across all partner and creator executions, maintaining Okta's presence cohesively.
- Measure and report on campaign performance metrics like reach, engagement, and branding impact to continuously refine the program.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience managing brand partnerships, sponsorships, or influencer and creator programs, preferably in B2B or technology sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to build or scale creator/influencer programs, including agency partner selection and management.
- Strong aptitude in integrated campaign planning, covering content creation, distribution, and performance measurement.
- Capability to transform ambiguous or emerging programs into structured plans and operating models.
- Excellent judgment in balancing brand prominence within external content and ecosystems.
- Experience collaborating across creative, demand generation, and communications functions to link brand initiatives to marketing funnels.
- Strong relationship management skills for internal teams and external partners or agencies.
- Comfort with operating in areas with limited defined parameters, adapting quickly.
- Ability to envision both the strategic big picture and execute tactical details, translating business objectives into effective campaign actions.
- Proactive, fast-moving work ethic with resourcefulness to accomplish goals efficiently.
Why Join Us
- Manage Okta's most significant brand partnerships as comprehensive campaigns with measurable impact.
- Build Okta's first dedicated influencer program from the ground up, shaping its future and reach.
- Help pioneer a fresh marketing channel in Okta's brand advertising mix.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this role in the San Francisco Bay Area is $143,000 to $196,900 USD. Final salary will be based on qualifications, experience, and location. Okta also offers equity, performance bonuses, and a full benefits package including health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending accounts, and paid leaves such as PTO and parental leave according to company policies.
