Role overview

The organization is looking for a dependable Night Shift Cleaner to support operations at its Seven Hills site in New South Wales. This position is essential to keeping the facility clean, safe, and ready for production in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Key duties

• Wash and disinfect industrial machines and equipment such as fillers, pipes, conveyor systems, drains, structural frames, and tanks.
• Prepare cleaning solutions in the correct proportions while following all safety procedures.
• Watch for hazards or environmental issues in the work area and escalate concerns to supervisors when needed.
• Clean warehouse and factory surfaces including floors, walls, windows, and stairs using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Remove grease, oil, dirt, and other buildup from machinery using detergents and solvents.
• Dispose of waste in the correct bins and change liners when required.
• Finish tasks within the required time limits and keep cleaning logs accurate and up to date.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant should already have experience cleaning machinery and ideally have worked in industrial cleaning for at least 3 years, preferably in food manufacturing. Experience handling chemicals and performing food/allergen-related cleaning is important. Familiarity with Lock Out Tag Out procedures is considered an advantage. A forklift licence is useful but not mandatory.
