Inbound Travel Consultant

Role Overview

The Mara Wanderlust seeks an experienced Inbound Travel Consultant based in Nairobi, Kenya. This role involves comprehensive management of safari bookings, encompassing inquiry handling, itinerary design, reservations, supplier coordination, client communications, and ensuring a seamless guest experience on location.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle of safari bookings starting from customer inquiries to final execution.
• Create detailed safari itineraries and develop accurate quotations tailored to client requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with various suppliers including hotels, camps, and transportation providers.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients to maximize customer satisfaction and sales success.
• Ensure smooth logistics and operations throughout the guest's safari experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in inbound travel or tour operations.
• Extensive knowledge of safari destinations in Kenya and East Africa.
• Proficiency in designing travel itineraries and preparing competitive quotations.
• Strong communication skills and a sales-oriented approach.
• In-depth understanding of accommodation, transport, and safari logistics.
