Inbound Marshall (all genders)

Role overview

As an Inbound Marshall, you will make sure that incoming goods are handled smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You will coordinate inbound deliveries, manage vehicle movement on site, and ensure that merchandise is received on time, unloaded correctly, and assigned to the appropriate storage or work areas.

You will act as a key link between transport partners, drivers, and the warehouse and operations teams. Your strong organisational skills, practical mindset, and attention to detail will help keep material flow running without disruption and support the success of day-to-day operations.

Please note that this position is initially limited to 12 months. A move into a permanent employment relationship afterward is intended.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming vehicle traffic, register drivers at check-in, and assign loading and unloading gates efficiently.
• Ensure that all safety, quality, and site rules are followed at all times.
• Plan and coordinate deliveries and delivery schedules to keep goods moving smoothly and reduce delays.
• Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely unloading and receipt of goods.
• Serve as the first point of contact for transport partners, drivers, and internal stakeholders, and communicate in a professional and solution-focused way.
• Monitor inbound shipments, spot deviations early, and take suitable corrective action when needed.
• Keep accurate records of inbound processes and prepare meaningful reports.
• Contribute ideas and actively support continuous improvement of inbound workflows.

Profile

You should bring initial or several years of experience in logistics, transport, or warehouse operations. You need to be able to work in a structured and organised way, keep track of several tasks at once, and stay calm in a dynamic environment while setting priorities confidently.

A careful approach, strong organisational ability, and a solution-oriented mindset are important. You should communicate clearly and in a service-oriented manner with transport partners, drivers, and internal teams. Experience with warehouse management or logistics systems (WMS) is an advantage.

A hands-on attitude, strong customer and service focus, teamwork, cross-functional collaboration, reliability, accountability, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards are all essential. You should also enjoy challenging existing processes and helping improve them continuously.
