Job description
Job Summary
As an in-store visual merchandiser, you will shape a store environment that is attractive, easy to shop, and aligned with the brand’s identity. The role focuses on presenting products in a way that supports sales, improves the customer experience, and keeps the store looking polished and current.
Responsibilities
- Put visual merchandising plans and brand guidelines into action to help increase store traffic and sales.
- Create and refresh seasonal window displays, in-store setups, and promotional signage.
- Keep mannequins, fixtures, shelves, lighting, and other display elements in good condition and updated.
- Regularly inspect the sales floor and make adjustments to improve merchandising impact.
- Track product availability and ensure replenishment is done promptly and presented neatly.
- Share observations with the Visual Merchandising Manager about trends, customer preferences, and display performance.
- Support the Instore VM Lead in training store team members on display standards and product placement practices.
Requirements
- Prior experience in visual merchandising, ideally within retail or fashion.
- A strong eye for aesthetics, creativity, and detailed work.
- Knowledge of retail selling principles and how customer behavior influences shopping decisions.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Comfort using visual merchandising tools and display equipment.
- Willingness to work weekends, early mornings, or late evenings when store changes or events require it.
Preferred Skills
- Experience or education in fashion, interior design, or visual arts is advantageous.
- Exposure to planograms and visual merchandising software.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
