Role overview
TheKey is hiring caregivers to support older adults in their homes across Oregon City, Molalla, West Linn, Lake Oswego, and nearby communities. This role is ideal for people who want a meaningful position in a growing care industry. The employer is especially interested in applicants who can cover ongoing weekend shifts as well as daytime hours.
Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, and all shifts are currently being staffed, including days, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Pay and bonuses
- Hourly pay is offered at $22 to $25.
- A $250 sign-on bonus is available after 30 hours have been worked.
- Weekly pay is provided, with an optional daily pay feature through PayActiv.
- Mileage reimbursement is included.
- Referral bonuses are available and are paid through Caribou.

Key duties
Caregivers will work one-on-one with clients inside their homes and may be asked to help with:
- Personal care tasks such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and meal support.
- Basic home upkeep like light cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Transportation for appointments, errands, and grocery trips.
- Friendly companionship through games, puzzles, and other socially engaging activities.
Eligibility and qualifications
- At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience is required.
- Experience with Alzheimer’s or dementia care is needed.
- Applicants should bring empathy, compassion, and kindness to the role.
- Good judgment and the ability to stay calm under pressure are important.
- Reliability, punctuality, and dependability are expected.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Applicants must be able to drive clients and have a vehicle, insurance, and registration.
- Candidates must meet state background screening requirements and be authorized to work in the US.
