Job Overview
HDFC Bank is urgently seeking experienced Imperia Clients Relationship Managers for its branches located in Bangalore at Indiranagar CMH Road, Indiranagar 100 Feet Road, and Bhatramarenahalli. The role focuses on managing and enhancing relationships with High Net Worth Individuals (HNI) within the Imperia/ Preferred banking segments, ensuring superior customer experiences, growing profitability through product cross-selling, and acquiring new customers.
The walk-in interview is scheduled for 28th July 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at HDFC Bank, 548/D Maruthi Mansion, CMH Road, Indiranagar, Bangalore 560038 (Branch Code - 184). Candidates must pre-register before attending.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage HNI portfolio by acquiring, deepening, retaining, and enhancing client relationships under the Imperia/ Preferred program.
- Identify and acquire new customers who match the product criteria and liaise with other relationship managers to flag suitable clients.
- Engage regularly with clients to update their profiles and understand evolving financial needs.
- Increase the overall portfolio size and wallet share by cross-selling banking products tailored to customer requirements.
- Conduct joint customer visits with supervisors following defined processes, offering advisory services in partnership with Private Banking Group.
- Reduce customer attrition and consistently meet monthly and yearly revenue targets.
- Maintain error-free documentation and ensure compliance with KYC and AML standards at all times.
- Adhere to 5-S workplace norms and promote direct banking channels to customers.
- Enhance income-generating product holdings and contribute to focused product penetration within portfolios.
- Deliver high-quality customer service, promptly resolving queries and complaints, keeping clients informed of regulatory or process changes, and ensuring smooth portfolio transitions.
- Collaborate with branch teams and other internal stakeholders such as operations, product teams, treasury, credit, insurance, asset management companies, and HDFC Securities.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Any graduate degree; post-graduation is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as AMFI and IRDA are mandatory; NCFM certification is optional.
- Proven sales and influencing capabilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of banking products, processes, and NRI products and regulations.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Familiarity with competition and current trends in the financial services industry.
Experience Requirements
The ideal candidate should have 5 or more years in banking and wealth management, preferably 2 to 6 years with exposure to portfolio management.
