Illustrator Artist Wanted for Creative Brand Character Project

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled illustrator to collaborate on a creative project crafting the brand's unique story through two main characters. This role is more than just illustration; it involves nurturing a brand's essence with artistic expression.

Characters to be Created

• A curious and spirited cat embodying liveliness and exploration.
• A meditating monk symbolizing calmness and mindfulness.

Application Process

Applicants are required to submit initial sketch concepts for both characters as follows:

• Three rough drafts of the cat character.
• Three rough drafts of the monk character.

Selection and Further Development

Submitted artwork will be reviewed, and candidates whose style and vision align with the brand will be contacted for further collaboration. Selected illustrators will receive a formal commission under a $1,000 AUD prize project.

The project will expand from initial characters to develop ten different poses for each, creating a comprehensive character suite representing the brand's narrative of awareness, serenity, and playful spirit.

• English proficiency at beginner to intermediate level is sufficient for communication.
