Job description
About the organisation
UP Education is a major education provider across Australasia, offering foundation, vocational and higher education programmes to both local and international students. The organisation is focused on helping learners achieve their potential and on building a workplace where people keep learning and growing professionally.
Role overview
This full-time permanent role is based in Ponsonby and offers hybrid working. You will act as the link between business teams and technology teams, spotting opportunities to improve how work is done and turning those insights into solutions that strengthen efficiency and support wider business goals.
Some travel to Australia may be needed at specific points during the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
The role covers business analysis, process improvement, stakeholder coordination, solution support and strong documentation practice.
Experience and background
The ideal candidate will bring experience in technology-related business or operations analysis, especially where end-to-end business processes have been involved. You should be comfortable working independently, focused on outcomes, and able to communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders.
Essential requirements
Applicants should have at least 3 years of experience in business or operations analysis within technology initiatives, along with the ability to prepare requirements, process documentation and user stories using business analysis tools. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability and stakeholder management are essential.
Desirable experience
Background in the Australian or New Zealand education sector is an advantage, particularly if you have worked with process blueprints or process redesign. Experience supporting change programmes and familiarity with financial processes would also be beneficial.
Additional information
The salary will be matched to experience and reviewed every year. The team offers a supportive environment with ongoing training and development, and this is described as a strong opportunity to join a growing and energetic organisation. The role advertisement closes on 19/7/26.
The employer also notes its commitment to equal opportunity, fair and consistent interviews, inclusion and diversity. A question set about identity may be used to help ensure applications reflect a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives.
Workplace and employment details
This is a permanent, full-time position with onsite work and hybrid flexibility available from the Ponsonby location.
