Position Overview
Skill Stork International School is inviting applications from dedicated and experienced IB Early Years Programme (EYP) Homeroom Teachers to be integral members of our Early Learning division. This role entails delivering a curriculum rooted in play-based and inquiry-focused learning, consistent with the IB PYP Early Years philosophy. The focus is on nurturing the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth of young children in a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary Homeroom Teacher for IB Early Years classes.
- Plan and execute learning experiences that are play-oriented and inquiry-led, in accordance with IB EYP standards.
- Promote development in language, numeracy, social interaction, and emotional health.
- Maintain a classroom atmosphere that is safe, caring, and engaging.
- Observe, document, and evaluate student progress using IB’s age-appropriate assessment methods.
- Manage individualized student portfolios and learning records.
- Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, coordinators, and subject specialists.
- Engage parents actively through meetings, report sharing, and conferences.
- Adhere strictly to child safeguarding policies, health & safety standards, and professional ethics.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of five years total teaching experience is mandatory.
- At least two years of direct experience with IB Early Years or IB PYP programmes is preferred.
- Only candidates with prior experience will be considered; fresh graduates are not eligible.
- Required qualifications include E.C.C.Ed, NTT, Montessori certification, D.Ed., B.El.Ed., or B.Ed.
- Possession of a degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or Child Development is an advantage.
- IB certifications or participation in IB professional development workshops are desirable.
- Proficiency in computer skills is essential.

- This is a full-time role based on campus needing complete professional dedication.
- Concurrent employment, freelance projects, or private tutoring during academic sessions are prohibited.
- Enrollment in any academic programme that conflicts with work responsibilities (full or part-time) is not allowed.
