Hygiene Operative Night Shift

Overview

We are seeking Hygiene Operatives for the night shift to join our team at the Ballymena facility. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with safety protocols and site plans.

Working Hours

The shift pattern is 4 days on followed by 4 days off, working from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely clean designated areas and equipment using appropriate PPE and tools, adhering to the hygiene standards outlined in the site hygiene plan and completing tasks efficiently.
• Ensure all electrical components, such as panels, switches, sockets, and sensors, are securely covered before rinsing or washing.
• Manage waste disposal effectively within the work area.
• Promptly report any issues or concerns to the manager or supervisor.
• Collaborate and communicate with daytime operational personnel to address and resolve any hygiene-related challenges.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Proficient English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Capability to work comfortably in refrigerated or chilled environments.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-driven with enthusiasm and initiative to complete tasks independently.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
• Good manual dexterity and physical capability.

Preferred Experience

• Previous factory environment experience is advantageous.
• Experience in hygiene-related roles or functions is desirable.
