Hygiene Operative

Role overview

We are seeking a Hygiene Operative to help maintain a clean, safe, and production-ready environment across the site. This position is central to supporting food safety, product quality, and smooth operations.

Compensation and shift pattern

The role pays €16.20 per hour. Working hours are 8-hour shifts, 5 days out of 7, and night work is required. Weekend shifts may also be part of the schedule. The roster is Monday to Friday on night shift.

What you will do

• Deep-clean production lines and surrounding areas, including dismantling belts and components and cleaning them according to set instructions.
• Wash machine parts and clean walls, floors, ceilings, and other surfaces in line with hygiene instruction cards.
• Put cleaned equipment and lines back together so they are ready for the next production cycle.
• Work in different site areas such as boxing, chill storage, and freezer zones while following the cleaning timetable.
• Follow all standard operating procedures, safety rules, and quality requirements at all times.
• Use checklists and workflow instructions carefully and accurately.
• Take guidance from the Team Leader and coordinate with Quality and Production teams to maintain hygiene standards.

• A careful eye for detail and a strong focus on doing the job to a high standard.
