Summary
Become part of the Hygiene team at South Quay and develop your experience in a practical, supportive working environment.
Role Overview
The business is hiring Hygiene Operatives to help deliver a 68-hour cleaning programme. In this role, you will complete assigned cleaning tasks using approved methods to ensure hygiene standards are met safely across the production area.
The working pattern is Monday to Friday from 22:00 to 06:00, and the pay rate is £14.58 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote tidy, safe working habits and uphold GMP standards in your designated area.
- Perform machinery hygiene inspections in line with company procedures.
- Finish all duties listed on the task allocation sheet to the expected standard.
- Keep hygiene standards consistently high and take part in hygiene and food safety audits.
- Make sure uniforms and PPE remain clean, properly maintained, and always worn.
- Complete all necessary records and paperwork accurately and without delay.
- Keep toilet facilities, the canteen, and locker rooms clean and hygienic.
Candidate Profile
The preferred candidate will hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification, or an equivalent certificate. You should also have knowledge of chemicals and COSHH requirements, understand essential health and safety practices, and be a dependable team player who sets a strong example through high standards.
