Role Overview
As an HR Specialist, you will provide end-to-end support across core HR operations. The role covers onboarding, employee relations, offboarding, reporting, and day-to-day HR coordination. You will help keep HR processes efficient, maintain compliance with Saudi labour regulations, and work closely with both internal teams and external parties.
Onboarding and New Joiner Support
- Assist the HR Executive with employment documentation such as contracts, bank account setup, and medical insurance arrangements.
- Help plan and coordinate training sessions that form part of the onboarding journey.
- Manage visa processing for new employees through the required government systems and online portals.
- Arrange relocation support for employees joining from outside the country.
- Keep employee information updated and accurate in BambooHR or a comparable HRMS platform.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a contact point for employees and management on HR-related questions and workplace concerns.
- Share information with employees about company policies, benefits, job responsibilities, and compensation.
- Support performance management activities, including PIP cycles, performance reviews, and disciplinary meetings.
- Take part in engagement programs, focus groups, and feedback discussions that help strengthen the employee experience.
Offboarding
- Work with the PRO to manage visa cancellations, transfers, and exit procedures.
- Conduct exit interviews and prepare final settlements in accordance with Saudi Labour Law.
- Represent the company at the Saudi Labour Office when needed for employment-related matters.
Reporting, Documentation, and Compliance
- Respond to employee requests for documents such as salary certificates, performance forms, and PIP-related paperwork within 24 to 48 hours.
- Prepare and circulate monthly HR reports for the HR Manager, including visa headcount and quota tracking.
- Maintain complete and accurate HR records while ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- A graduate degree or diploma in HR or a related field is required.
- The role calls for 3 to 5 years of experience in human resources.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong command of Microsoft Office tools.
- Working knowledge of KSA immigration laws.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with people at all levels inside and outside the organisation.
- Good coordination, organisation, time management, and planning abilities.
