Role overview
Beanz is hiring an HR Officer to support its growth across the GCC. This role is central to the company’s people function and suits someone who enjoys being the main point of contact for employees while also keeping HR operations organized and efficient.
You will take ownership of a broad generalist HR remit, including recruitment, employee relations, contracts, onboarding, HR systems, and day-to-day people operations. The position calls for someone who is comfortable working hands-on, managing multiple priorities, and helping shape how HR is run in a scaling tech environment.
Key responsibilities
The role covers the full recruitment process, employee support, HR administration, and coordination with management on people-related initiatives. It also involves maintaining accurate HR records and helping ensure a smooth experience for employees from joining through exit.
- Coordinate hiring activities from start to finish, including candidate screening, interview scheduling, and ensuring a positive applicant journey
- Respond to employee queries and act as a reliable first contact for workplace concerns and people-related matters
- Support hiring conversations, prepare employment contracts, and manage HR paperwork
- Maintain HR platforms and records with accurate, up-to-date information and strong data integrity
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes so transitions are seamless and professional
- Work with management on workforce planning, employee engagement, and retention efforts
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant brings strong HR generalist experience, a people-focused mindset, and the judgment needed to handle sensitive information with care. Comfort working in fast-moving environments is important, along with the ability to stay organized and calm while balancing several priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a similar discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in a comparable HR generalist role
- Strong English communication skills; Arabic is a major plus for working with a regional team
- Background in a tech company, startup, or startup ecosystem, or experience in tech/startup hiring
- High emotional intelligence, discretion, and sound ethical decision-making
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks without losing composure
- A diplomatic, proactive approach with a genuine commitment to supporting people
