Job description

Role Overview

SnapStar Talent is seeking a proactive HR Officer with solid recruitment expertise and practical experience across the employee journey. In this position, you will help bring in strong talent, support staff growth, manage performance processes, and keep core HR functions running smoothly.

Compensation

The gross monthly budget for this role is 120,000 to 150,000, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment from start to finish, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and guiding new hires through onboarding.
  • Create and apply hiring approaches that help attract and secure strong candidates.
  • Plan and coordinate orientation and induction activities for new employees.
  • Assist with learning and development by helping identify training needs and arranging staff training sessions.
  • Support performance management activities, including appraisal cycles and performance improvement plans.
  • Handle employee relations matters professionally, including questions, concerns, complaints, and disciplinary issues.
  • Keep employee files and HR systems accurate, secure, and confidential.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and administration of employee benefits.
  • Help ensure adherence to company rules, labour legislation, and accepted HR standards.
  • Prepare HR reports and monitor important people metrics to inform business decisions.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.
  • CHRP certification will be considered an advantage.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an HR Officer or HR Generalist position, with direct exposure to end-to-end recruitment.
  • Practical understanding of performance management, employee relations, and HR administration.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms and strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A professional approach, along with strong integrity and respect for confidentiality.
