Job description
Position Overview
Our client seeks an experienced Human Resources Generalist for a contract role lasting between two to four months, located fully onsite in the East Columbus area. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the successful candidate will provide support across multiple HR domains, with primary responsibility for corporate recruiting, onboarding procedures, and HR operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for corporate positions, including sourcing candidates, conducting screenings and interviews, and managing offer coordination, comprising approximately 40 to 50% of work duties.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to ensure an excellent experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Organize and manage comprehensive onboarding and orientation sessions for new hires.
- Perform job analysis to accurately define core responsibilities and necessary skills.
- Create and regularly update job descriptions to meet organizational needs.
- Assist with salary benchmarking and compensation research to aid in hiring decisions.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness in HR records and employee documentation.
- Contribute to additional HR projects and initiatives as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years’ experience in human resources, specifically in an HR Generalist or related capacity.
- Proven expertise in full-cycle recruitment for professional or corporate roles.
- Familiarity with new employee orientation, onboarding processes, and job description formulation.
- Excellent organizational skills combined with high attention to detail.
- Capability to prioritize and handle multiple workload demands efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal communications and ability to forge effective relationships.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
