Role overview
This position is a hands-on HR operations and administration role based in a manufacturing setting. You will partner with employees, people managers, and other teams to help drive business goals, strengthen employee engagement, support HR initiatives, and maintain compliance with relevant rules and policies. The role also helps keep HR workflows efficient and contributes to a healthy workplace culture.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with hiring and new hire onboarding to create a smooth and welcoming experience for employees.
- Manage employee life-cycle support tasks such as onboarding, documentation, and day-to-day HR administration.
- Help coordinate employee communications, training sessions, and company-wide programs or initiatives.
- Monitor adherence to internal policies, employment laws, and other regulatory obligations.
- Keep employee files and HR records accurate, current, and confidential.
- Contribute to HR projects and take on additional tasks as needed.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant HR experience, with manufacturing exposure preferred.
- Solid knowledge of Singapore employment law and current HR practices.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with the confidence to work across different levels of the organization.
- Strong planning, analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
- High integrity and discretion when dealing with sensitive or confidential information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Prior use of HR platforms and employee engagement tools is an added advantage.
