Role overview

The Human Resources Coordinator role is based in Goa, India at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts. This is a full-time, non-management position in the Human Resources function. The role involves supporting day-to-day HR administration, maintaining employee records, and helping ensure smooth HR operations while upholding confidentiality, service standards, and company policies.

Key duties

  • Set up and keep filing systems organized and up to date.
  • Prepare office correspondence on a computer and manage document routing and mail distribution.
  • Monitor and replenish HR office supplies and forms.
  • Handle incoming phone calls and accurately note messages.
  • Create new employee personnel files and maintain existing records.
  • Help walk-in candidates complete application steps and keep the application area clean, accessible, and suitable for people with disabilities.
  • Answer employee and management questions about HR programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Escalate employee relations issues within the division or property to HR leadership.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality and security of employee and property records, files, and information.
  • Ensure employee documentation is maintained accurately, including interview records and I-9 forms.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, and protect company assets.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the manager.
  • Greet guests according to company standards and communicate clearly and professionally in both spoken and written formats.
  • Build positive working relationships, support teammates, and contribute to shared goals.
  • Maintain quality standards, use computer and point-of-sale systems to enter and retrieve work information, and complete other duties assigned by supervisors.
  • Perform physical tasks that may include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Qualifications and experience

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and at least 1 year of relevant work experience. No supervisory background is required, and no license or certification is needed.
