Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner for a fixed-term maternity cover contract lasting a minimum of 12 months. The role supports a specific business unit by delivering both strategic and operational HR services to enhance performance, engagement, and retention within a company recognized for its quality outcomes and people-centric culture. The position is based in Dublin with a hybrid work setup (three days onsite, two days remote) and reports directly to the Senior HR Business Partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to implement the people strategy effectively.
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment through employee exit procedures.
- Plan workforce and resources to fulfill future talent requirements.
- Coach managers on performance management and probation processes.
- Design and execute initiatives aimed at improving employee retention.
- Lead investigations and hearings related to disciplinary matters.
- Drive talent management processes including succession planning and actionable development plans.
- Present HR updates and analyze people metrics to senior leadership.
- Supervise the annual compensation review process.
- Offer ongoing HR support and advisement across the business operations.
- Promote continuous enhancement of HR systems and practices.
Experience and Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner or in a senior HR Generalist capacity.
- Strong skills in influencing, coaching, and delivering presentations.
- Resilience and confidence to succeed in a fast-evolving, dynamic workplace.
- Familiarity with HR information systems such as Advanced HR or equivalent platforms.
- Possession of relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or related fields.
- CIPD membership is preferable but not mandatory.
