Job description
Role Overview
This opportunity is being shared on behalf of a partner organization, which will handle the application review and subsequent hiring steps. The employer is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), Shared Services in the United States.
The role blends strategic HR partnership with hands-on support in a dynamic, multi-entity environment. You will advise shared services leaders and work closely with stakeholders in HR, Finance, Marketing, and IT to connect people plans with business priorities. The position brings together organizational development, employee relations, workforce planning, and analytics-led decision-making. It also plays an important part in strengthening culture, improving performance, and supporting scalable growth across distributed teams. Because this is a remote-first position, you will contribute to both daily HR operations and longer-term initiatives. The role is well suited to someone who can navigate complexity, establish credibility quickly, and balance advisory responsibilities with execution.
Key Accountabilities
- Act as the main HR partner for shared services teams, offering guidance on employee relations, performance management, and broader people matters.
- Work with business leaders to build and implement workforce plans that support operational needs and long-term goals.
- Contribute to organizational design, change efforts, and leadership development across changing business units.
- Use HR metrics and analytics to support decisions, strengthen retention, and improve workforce performance.
- Maintain compliance with employment regulations, company policies, and documentation requirements, while keeping HR records accurate and audit-ready.
- Collaborate with Learning & Development to create and deliver training that builds leadership capability and boosts employee engagement.
- Support engagement and culture-building efforts in a remote-first setting while ensuring consistent HR support for teams.
Required Background
- At least 5 years of HR business partner experience supporting corporate or shared services functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to turn business requirements into HR strategies that deliver measurable results.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development.
- Well-developed analytical ability to interpret HR data and turn it into usable insights.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working remotely in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment with multiple competing priorities.
- Comfort using HRIS platforms such as Rippling or similar tools, along with strong Microsoft Office skills.
- HR credentials such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are a definite advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual pay range: $95,000 to $130,000.
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage, including benefits for dependents.
- 401(k) plan with company matching and an option for a brokerage account.
- Flexible spending accounts (FSA) and healthcare savings options.
- Paid time off, plus an additional holiday closure period.
- Paid parental leave after the required qualifying tenure.
- Company-paid life insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage.
- Tuition reimbursement and support for professional development.
- Remote-first work setup across the United States.
- A strong emphasis on employee well-being, inclusion, and continuous learning.
