Position Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner plays a pivotal role supporting the National Services Organization (NSO) and multiple independent physician practices across various sites in a healthcare setting. Reporting to the Senior Director of Human Resources, this role delivers pragmatic HR support focused on employee relations, recruitment, leadership assistance, and uniform HR policies, helping shape a positive and productive environment amidst organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on HR partnership to business leaders, physicians, and practice administrators, guiding on performance management, employee relations, and policy adherence.
  • Manage employee relations issues from reporting to resolution with investigations and appropriate action recommendations.
  • Coach leaders through challenging conversations, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Analyze employee relations trends and propose preventative measures to strengthen leadership and workplace culture.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and manage full-cycle recruitment processes.
  • Support onboarding processes ensuring smooth cultural integration for new hires.
  • Assist with workforce planning aligned with expansion and acquisition efforts.
  • Provide daily HR operational support and contribute to scalable HR policy development tailored to a decentralized model.
  • Coordinate with Payroll, Benefits, HRIS, Compliance, and Operations for consistent employee experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company regulations.
  • Facilitate organizational change, using data and judgment to guide leadership decisions.
  • Regular travel up to 20% to various practice locations to deliver on-site HR services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years progressive HR experience, ideally supporting multiple sites or business units.
  • Preferred background in healthcare, physician practice management, or National Services Organizations.
  • Proven expertise in employee relations and conducting workplace investigations.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR are advantageous.
