Role Overview
We are hiring an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support business leaders and teams in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will help connect people initiatives with operational priorities by offering practical guidance on workforce planning, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness. This position calls for a solid background in HR operations and strategic partnership, along with the ability to coordinate with specialist HR functions to deliver consistent, business-aligned support.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned business groups, advising leaders on staffing plans, team design, and people strategies that support performance and growth.
- Partner with managers to turn business goals into talent priorities, including workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development efforts.
- Provide daily guidance on employee-related matters such as performance issues, workplace disputes, policy interpretation, and investigations, involving employee relations specialists when needed.
- Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders to anticipate organizational needs and suggest proactive HR solutions.
- Work alongside HR specialists in talent acquisition, compensation, talent management, and employee relations to deliver coordinated support to client groups.
- Lead the execution of recurring HR programs such as performance reviews, talent planning, compensation processes, and succession activities, ensuring clear communication and reliable delivery.
- Review workforce and business data to identify trends, support leadership discussions, and inform decisions.
- Handle HR administrative tasks, including employee changes, organizational updates, onboarding coordination, and hiring-related actions with accuracy and speed.
- Support additional HR, cross-functional, or department-wide projects as needed to meet business priorities.
- Travel up to 25%, including occasional overnight trips, to assist with business and HR initiatives across assigned locations.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including substantial experience advising business leaders in a strategic capacity.
- Experience supporting HR operations in a multisite, shared services, or service-oriented environment.
- Hands-on experience with employee relations, HR administration, onboarding, and broader people strategy work.
- Strong understanding of core HR practices, employment principles, and organizational support processes.
- Ability to analyze data, recognize patterns, and use insights to guide business decisions.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence leaders at different levels of the organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and HRIS systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be accepted.
