Role overview

This remote Human Resources Assistant position is designed for someone who can support day-to-day people operations, keep HR records accurate, help coordinate recruitment and onboarding tasks, and provide dependable administrative assistance. The role contributes to a smooth employee experience while maintaining discretion, organization, and professionalism across all HR activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Keep employee information current and accurate in HR systems.
  • Help with onboarding and exit processes, including paperwork and scheduling support.
  • Draft HR materials such as employment contracts, letters, and internal notices.
  • Handle straightforward HR questions and direct more complex requests to the right team member.
  • Follow HR policies, documentation standards, and data privacy rules.
  • Organize digital HR records using consistent file names and folder structures.
  • Track HR tasks, watch for delays or missing items, and raise concerns when needed.
  • Maintain HR trackers and share status updates on open items.
  • Support audit readiness by making sure documents are complete and easy to retrieve.
