About the Role
Scouto AI seeks an entry-level Human Resources professional passionate about blending HR operations with data analytics and AI-driven tools. This position is designed for recent graduates or individuals early in their careers who have an interest in HR processes, data interpretation, and leveraging modern technologies such as Power BI, Excel or Google Sheets, and advanced AI platforms to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Role Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and analyze diverse HR datasets, including recruitment, employee records, attendance, onboarding, performance assessment, attrition rates, and workforce planning.
- Develop and sustain dashboards and management information systems using reporting tools like Power BI, Excel, or similar applications.
- Monitor recruitment funnel metrics including application volume, candidate shortlisting, interview progress, offer generation, joining rates, turnaround times, source effectiveness, and dropout analysis.
- Examine workforce data to uncover patterns related to headcount, attrition, attendance, performance levels, employee engagement, skill sets, and manpower forecasting.
- Utilize AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, among others, for enhancing efficiency in data cleaning, report creation, formula development, dashboard preparation, insight derivation, documentation, and process enhancement.
- Translate raw HR data into actionable insights to inform HR teams and leadership for improved decision-making.
- Support ongoing HR operations including tracking onboarding progress, managing employee documentation, updating HR management systems, monitoring employee queries, and documenting procedures.
- Identify repetitive reporting or operational tasks suitable for automation or simplification using Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, AI tools, or other workflow solutions.
- Ensure the highest standards of data accuracy and quality by validating reports and AI-generated results prior to distribution among stakeholders.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical use of sensitive employee and candidate data alongside responsible application of AI tools.
Key Competencies
- Genuine enthusiasm for HR analytics, people data, and data-supported decision-making.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets involving formulas, pivot tables, charts, filtering, lookup functions, and data cleansing.
- Familiarity or willingness to develop skills in Power BI dashboard creation.
- Capability to interpret complex data and communicate insights in accessible business language.
- Practical experience with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot for professional tasks.
- Skill in crafting clear prompts, evaluating AI outputs, and refining results through iteration.
- Excellent communication aptitude to effectively present findings.
- Detail-oriented approach with comfort managing structured data.
- A proactive learning attitude towards emerging HR technologies, analytics instruments, and automation techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Power BI advanced features such as Power Query and DAX or dashboard design.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, or general principles of data visualization.
- Experience with HRMS, applicant tracking systems, payroll, or employee management platforms.
- Previous academic or practical projects, internships, or self-initiated work involving data analytics, dashboards, or HR analytics.
- Proven ability in utilizing AI tools to automate data tasks like report generation, data cleaning, formula development, trend summarization, or repetitive workflow automation.
- Understanding of various HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, attendance management, performance evaluation, and employee lifecycle management.
Eligibility Criteria
- A bachelor's degree in engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) is required.
- An MBA degree is mandatory.
