About Hygiene Hub
Hygiene Hub is a community-based charity committed to ensuring everyone has access to basic cleanliness. We address hygiene poverty throughout Ireland by gathering new personal care and household items and distributing them to those in need through local community partners.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated volunteer in Cork to help coordinate the collection and distribution of hygiene essentials.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect donations from designated local drop-off points and hygiene drives.
- Help identify and establish new drop-off locations to broaden the charity's outreach.
- Support organizing fundraising events and hygiene collection drives.
- Volunteer commitment is estimated at 2 to 3 hours each month.
Volunteer Profile
- Must have reliable access to a car for transportation.
- Possess strong organizational, communication, and digital skills, including comfort using email, spreadsheets, and online platforms.
- Self-driven, independent, and deeply motivated by social justice and supporting individuals facing poverty.
- While prior experience in volunteering or community work is advantageous, a passion for the cause and alignment with our values is the primary requirement.
