About the Role
Penspen is seeking a qualified HSE Officer to join a significant gas processing project in Abu Dhabi. This is a full-time, onsite position.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies on project sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
- Develop and implement HSE plans and procedures specific to the project.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver HSE training and awareness programs to project personnel.
- Maintain HSE records and documentation, including reports and statistics.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders on HSE matters.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the project team.
Requirements
- Possession of an Engineering Diploma or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years of professional experience.
- At least 5 years of this experience must be within oil and gas EPC projects.
- Must have ADNOC approval as an HSE Officer.
- Thorough understanding and practical application of ADNOC HSE standard practices and procedures.
