Role Overview and Responsibilities

This role acts as a vital resource for all HR-related matters within the company while collaborating across internal teams. The successful candidate will bring 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources with expertise in recruiting, HR policies, labor law compliance, and technical talent acquisition for mid to senior and executive levels, including programmers, data scientists, and data analysts. Core duties include:

  • Identifying and screening candidates to find optimal fits for various technical and non-technical positions.
  • Monitoring market and industry trends to adapt recruitment strategies effectively.
  • Administering new hire orientation and facilitating seamless onboarding experiences.
  • Managing employee relations by offering counsel and resolving issues professionally.
  • Supporting development and execution of HR procedures and policies.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements such as labor laws, immigration, FMLA, paid leave, background checks, Title VII, audits, unemployment matters, and terminations.
  • Contributing to various HR projects and company initiatives as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification preferred.
  • Proven background as an HR generalist and recruiter, specifically in technology or related industries.
  • Thorough knowledge of HR regulations, laws, and industry best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and effective communication skills.
  • Capability to work autonomously and as part of a team within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and applicant tracking technologies.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an emphasis on detail orientation.
