Who we are looking for
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator or Systems Analyst with strong HR systems knowledge and the ability to support busy business users. The role calls for someone who can manage deadlines, handle peak workloads, and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Additional requirements
Experience with SAP SuccessFactors in a system administration or systems analysis capacity is important, along with a background in HR technical support and service delivery. The ideal candidate will also have experience coordinating configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation of system changes, plus support for HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee life cycle activities. Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi/The Treaty of Waitangi, te reo Māori, and Māori customs and protocols would be an advantage.
Eligibility and clearance
Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident. The successful candidate must also be able to obtain and maintain a Confidential security clearance. To meet the clearance requirements, a person generally needs enough verifiable background history in countries where reliable checks can be completed. If those checks cannot be carried out, the application may not be able to proceed.
This is a corporate specialist role based in central Wellington, not a foreign policy or diplomatic position. Although specialist staff are not usually posted overseas, some overseas specialist vacancies may arise from time to time and would be filled through a competitive process.
