Overview
MGM Resorts International is hiring an HR Shared Services Tier 1 - Corporate team member in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area, Nevada. This role is the initial contact for employees seeking HR help and information, with a focus on delivering prompt support, routing issues correctly, and completing transactional HR tasks in line with company policies and procedures.
Compensation
The starting pay for this position is $18.00 per hour.
What you will do
- Handle employee, manager, retiree, and family member questions and requests by phone, chat, and email.
- Address HR issues, concerns, and status updates in a courteous, service-oriented, and professional way.
- Escalate more complex matters to HRSSC leadership or Tier II support, ensuring all work completed so far is documented clearly.
- Work with internal teams and outside contacts to gather or provide information needed to resolve open cases.
- Direct people to HR self-service tools, external vendors, or other appropriate resources when needed.
- Safeguard confidential information at all times.
Candidate profile
The company is looking for someone who has a strong customer service mindset, can manage sensitive conversations, and is comfortable working in a shared services environment. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and should have at least one year of experience in customer service, inbound call centers, or a similar role.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service, inbound call center work, or a related field.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
