HR & Recruitment Specialist

Overview

The HR & Recruitment Specialist position is a full-time role based in Dubai, UAE, reporting directly to the HR Manager at DEAL Holdings. The role involves managing a high volume of end-to-end recruitment across all brands and business units within the DEAL Holdings group, including The Food & Beverage Group and other subsidiaries. Ideal candidates have substantial experience in volume hiring, preferably from a recruitment agency, with a strong understanding of the hospitality industry's operational demands and irregular hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment processes for all positions across the holding company’s brands and units, overseeing requisitions through to candidate onboarding.
• Manage multiple concurrent vacancies while maintaining recruitment quality and meeting established time-to-fill service level agreements.
• Develop and maintain active talent pipelines using digital platforms, referrals, walk-ins, and recruitment events to address fast-paced hiring requirements.
• Conduct high-volume phone screens and initial interviews; coordinate subsequent interviews with hiring managers across brands.
• Maintain and operate the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring data accuracy and reporting for all business units.
• Update job descriptions and structured interview materials tailored to each brand’s needs.
• Handle reference verifications, offer negotiations, and preparation of compliant offer letters.
• Serve as liaison for the PMO regarding recruitment requests, ensuring compliance for management-level hires.
• Oversee onboarding procedures for all new hires, guaranteeing timely and accurate preparation of UAE-compliant employment contracts and documentation.
• Collect and verify employee onboarding documents including passports, Emirates IDs, medical records, and visas; coordinate visa processing and insurance enrollment with the external PRO team.
• Arrange induction schedules and first-day activities across various venues and business units.
• Maintain employee records, leave tracking systems, manpower planning, and assist in payroll data preparation.
• Monitor expiration of work permits, medical clearances, visas, and insurance, ensuring timely renewals and coordination with PRO services.
• Contribute to updates of HR standard operating procedures, the Employee Handbook, and internal communications.
• Ensure adherence to UAE labour law (Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021) and proactively identify compliance risks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of recruitment experience, particularly in high-volume hiring; experience from recruitment agencies highly desirable.
• Background recruiting for UAE food & beverage, hospitality, or retail sectors is beneficial; experience handling multi-brand or holding company recruitment advantageous.
• Willingness to work extended, flexible hours including evenings and weekends in line with hospitality industry needs.
• Solid knowledge of UAE labour laws, visa and PRO procedures.
• Proficient in operating ATS and HR information systems.
• Excellent communicator with strong negotiation, organizational, and computer skills (Microsoft Office suite).
