Job description

About the Opportunity

This role sits within a rapidly growing HR technology consultancy that works with clients across India. The organization helps mid-sized and large enterprises modernize their people operations by implementing and improving cloud HR systems that reduce manual work, strengthen compliance, and improve the employee experience.

The position focuses on managing HRMS/HRIS solutions end to end, supporting hybrid work setups, and helping businesses run their workforce processes more efficiently through automation and data-led governance.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for implementing, configuring, upgrading, and supporting HR platforms while ensuring reliable data, smooth integrations, and effective reporting. The role also involves collaborating with HR business teams, training users, and maintaining compliance with internal controls and applicable labor regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Handle complete HRMS/HRIS rollouts, configuration work, and system enhancement or upgrade activities in a hybrid work environment.
  • Maintain data accuracy, manage access permissions, oversee system links with other tools, and support workflow automation in core HR applications.
  • Work with HR Business Partners to convert policy updates and process changes into system settings and management dashboards.
  • Deliver second- and third-line technical support for HR users and resolve platform issues with minimal disruption.
  • Create and run training sessions for administrators and end users across different teams.
  • Conduct HR data checks, produce compliance-related reports, and ensure systems align with labor law requirements and internal governance standards.

Requirements

  • Hands-on knowledge of Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, and Oracle HCM.
  • Experience in HRIS reporting, system setup, data migration, and process automation.
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance and governance practices.
  • Preferred exposure to ADP or BambooHR.
  • Ability to use SQL for HR analytics is an added advantage.
  • Certification in Workday HCM or SuccessFactors is preferred.

Perks & Culture

  • Hybrid flexibility with three remote working days per week and optional co-working access in major Indian cities.
  • Exposure to enterprise HR transformation projects across sectors such as healthcare, fintech, and logistics.
  • Supportive, growth-oriented environment with mentorship, certification sponsorship, and leadership growth opportunities for strong performers.

Additional Information

This is a full-time role based in Surat, Gujarat, India, with a hybrid remote structure. The job is focused on HR technology operations rather than generalist HR work.
