Job description

About the Company

Cognition is an international AI organisation creating core products that are changing how software is built and sustained. Its main products, Devin and Windsurf, are used by engineering groups and technology decision-makers around the world. As the company grows across borders, Riyadh serves as an important centre for talent operations supporting the MENA and APAC regions.

Role Overview

This position sits within Cognition’s global People Operations team and helps coordinate hiring and employee lifecycle work across several regions, time zones, and cultures. The company is looking for a well-organised HR and Recruiting Coordinator based in Riyadh to partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and People teams worldwide, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for candidates and employees.

The opening is initially offered on a contract basis, with the possibility of becoming permanent after 6 months.

This opportunity is especially suited to a Saudi national who wants to develop an HR or talent career in a fast-growing technology company with international exposure.

Recruiting Coordination

  • Arrange and manage interviews across MENA, APAC, Europe, and the US, keeping track of different time zones with speed and precision.
  • Act as a main contact for candidates across global markets.
  • Help maintain a consistent, high-quality journey for candidates from first contact until the offer stage.
  • Update candidate information in the ATS accurately and promptly.
  • Assist recruiters with interview planning, feedback gathering, and offer-related coordination for international hires.

HR and People Operations

  • Support onboarding for new employees across MENA and APAC in coordination with local partners and global People Operations teams.
  • Help with offboarding activities and employee lifecycle changes across regions.
  • Keep employee records accurate in HR systems for international teams.
  • Assist with compliance tracking alongside local advisers and internal stakeholders.
  • Help put global people policies into practice while accounting for local market needs.

Operational Excellence and Growth

  • Work with the International People team to simplify and standardise global recruiting and HR processes.
  • Support reporting on international hiring volume, time-to-hire, and operational performance.
  • Spot process issues across regions and contribute to scalable, repeatable improvements.
  • Assist with cross-regional people projects as the company expands internationally.

Requirements

  • Must be a Saudi national.
  • A bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a similar field is required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR operations, or international people support.
  • Experience working across multiple regions or time zones is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent organisational ability and strong attention to detail.
  • Comfort using ATS and HRIS tools such as Lever, Greenhouse, Workday, or comparable systems.
  • Strong English and Arabic communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-moving global environment.

Benefits and Growth

  • Exposure to international work across the MENA and APAC markets.
  • Direct collaboration with global People and Talent leadership.
  • A chance to build a long-term international HR career from Riyadh.
  • Opportunity to contribute to the global growth of a leading AI company.
  • Room for the role to expand as international operations scale.
