Job description
Overview
This opportunity is for an Assistant Manager, Compensation & Benefits to join the Human Resource team of a local multinational company in Singapore. The role focuses on building and managing pay structures, supporting review cycles, and advising internal stakeholders on compensation-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of creating, rolling out, and maintaining compensation programs and related processes.
- Study compensation data, contribute to salary benchmarking exercises, and track market movements to keep pay arrangements competitive.
- Manage the yearly performance appraisal and compensation review cycle to ensure it runs efficiently.
- Carry out job evaluation work to determine role size and pay fit; familiarity with tools or frameworks such as Mercer is expected.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on compensation policies, practices, and related guidance.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accountancy, or a similar discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits.
- Strong analytical ability, experience with market research, and knowledge of regulatory law.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work across complex multi-country settings.
- Prior exposure to regional responsibilities will be an added advantage.
