Overview
At Discovery Dunes Golf Club, we prioritize our people and seek a skilled HR Operations and Administration Specialist to create outstanding employee experiences behind the scenes. This position is not a standard HR administrative role. It demands an individual who thrives on structuring processes, problem-solving, and confidently managing HR operations administration comprehensively. Using technology to streamline HR functions and support employees is central to this role.
Role Description
You will form the operational administration core of the HR team, ensuring smooth functioning across all stages of the employee lifecycle. This involves seamless management of people, systems, and HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all HR administration, documentation, and employee records.
- Serve as the in-house Workday HRIS expert, overseeing recruiting, business processes, reporting, and other modules.
- Handle administrative tasks related to UAE visa, immigration, Emirates ID, and medical insurance.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and tracking tools that support informed decision-making.
- Coordinate engaging employee initiatives that foster memorable experiences.
- Continuously seek and implement process improvements to enhance workflows and efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
- Between 3 to 5 years of experience in HR operations and administration.
- Proficient, hands-on expertise with Workday HRIS platform, particularly its recruiting and business process modules.
- Strong familiarity with UAE Labour Law and visa/immigration requirements.
- Exceptional organizational capability with high attention to detail.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Valid UAE driving license and personal vehicle ownership.
- An approachable, professional, and empathetic HR style; adept at building trust and balancing expert HR knowledge with genuine care for staff.
Preferred Additional Experience
- Workday reporting and analytics.
- Performance and absence management.
- Scheduling and HR analytics expertise.
- Participation in HRIS implementation or optimization projects.
- Active involvement with process improvement initiatives.
