About the Role
Discovery Dunes Golf Club is seeking a Valet Attendant to join its Operations team, playing a crucial role in enhancing the member experience at an exclusive private golf and residential community. The primary responsibility is to provide a seamless, professional, and discreet valet and transportation service for members and guests. This position demands attentiveness, confidence, and a keen understanding of the high standards expected by ultra-high-net-worth individuals. The Valet Attendant will collaborate closely with the Valet Supervisor and the broader Operations team to ensure the safe, efficient, and highly professional handling of vehicles, golf carts, and member movements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional and discreet valet services to members and guests.
- Safely park, retrieve, and manage luxury and high-value vehicles.
- Transport members, guests, and staff using golf carts throughout the community.
- Provide support for golf operations, special events, and during peak demand periods.
- Maintain golf carts and designated vehicles to stringent standards through cleaning and inspection.
- Assist with cart barn operations, including charging, storage, and routine maintenance.
- Adhere strictly to all safety, traffic, and operational protocols.
- Uphold luxury service standards and represent the community with professionalism.
What Skills & Qualifications Are Required
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with an impeccable driving record.
- Prior experience in valet services, hospitality, golf clubs, or luxury service environments is advantageous.
- Demonstrate a strong respect for high-value vehicles and premium assets.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Maintain a calm, professional, and discreet demeanor, especially under pressure.
- Must be physically capable of standing, walking, and driving for extended durations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and event days.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in handling luxury or high-performance vehicles is a plus.
- Familiarity with the operations of golf clubs or private residential communities is beneficial.
- Possess a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a polished presentation.
