About the Role

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced HR Mini Master Lead to oversee the design, data migration, and validation of employee master data (mini master) essential for SAP S/4HANA integration during system conversion or selective data migration projects. This position ensures precise personnel data alignment with key business functions such as Finance, Controlling, Logistics, and Governance Risk & Compliance within the new SAP environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and configure the HR Mini Master data framework in S/4HANA, supporting business operations without requiring complete HCM implementation.
Identify and set up necessary HR data info types including but not limited to 0000, 0001, 0002, 0006, and 0105.
Manage configuration of personnel number ranges, organizational assignments, and user linkages.
Extract and analyze relevant HR master data from ECC systems and cleanse for migration readiness.
Lead data migration activities using tools such as SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit and LSMW where applicable.
Validate migrated data consistency covering employee records, business partners, and user associations.
Ensure seamless integration of HR Mini Master data with S/4HANA modules including FI, CO, Logistics, and Procurement, aligning with the Business Partner model.
Maintain relationships between Personnel Numbers, User IDs, and Business Partners while supporting authorization frameworks like roles, workflows, and approval processes.
Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing phases, validating data accuracy, system workflows, and report outputs.
Uphold data quality standards, governance, and GDPR compliance for HR Mini Master data ownership.
Collaborate effectively with HR function, security/GRC teams, migration specialists, and technical Basis teams to ensure project success.

Required Experience and Skills

Extensive functional knowledge of SAP HCM modules (PA/OM) on ECC platforms.
Hands-on expertise with HR Mini Master concept and deployment within S/4HANA environments.
Proficient in Business Partner integration strategies and methods.
Experience in ECC to S/4HANA migrations or selective data transition projects.
Skillful in utilizing SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, LSMW, and executing data mapping, cleansing, and validation tasks.
Understanding of info types, HR data structures, and optional knowledge of ALE/IDoc.
Ability to integrate user-role mapping and authorization components.
Experienced in producing test cases, executing validation tests, and documenting functional processes thoroughly.

Additional Desirable Skills

Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors integration.
Knowledge of SAP GRC and access control procedures.
Awareness of data privacy rules such as GDPR.
Understanding of S/4HANA Customer Vendor Integration (CVI).
