Job description

About Rippling

Rippling offers an integrated platform that consolidates all HR and IT functions—such as payroll, benefits, device management, and applications—streamlining business workforce management. By linking business systems into a single source of employee data truth, Rippling automates previously manual HR tasks. For instance, onboarding a new hire involves just one click to provision payroll, health plans, work computers, and key apps like Slack and Office 365, all within 90 seconds.

Founded in San Francisco, Rippling has secured $1.4 billion in funding from leading venture capital firms and was recognized by Forbes as one of the top startup employers nationally (#12 out of 500).

Role Overview

This position is part of Rippling’s Employer of Record (EOR) service, enabling global hiring without the need for local entities. The HR Coordinator acts as the primary contact for international hires, offering comprehensive HR support from onboarding through offboarding and handling all inquiries from clients and EOR employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Address daily HR operational inquiries from clients and EOR employees about hiring, leave, performance, investigations, claims, and terminations promptly and professionally.
  • Manage international HR cases via Salesforce by triaging and assigning them to the appropriate HR Advisors.
  • Administer leave of absence requests, performance processes, terminations, and HR issues that carry legal or regulatory implications.
  • Coordinate employee claims concerning unemployment, leave/disability benefits, and workers’ compensation.
  • Verify compliance with all regulatory and employment checks.
  • Support labor law and compliance audits as necessary.
  • Collaborate with payroll and operations teams to resolve client and employee HR questions on schedule.
  • Develop and maintain standardized operating procedures (SOPs), client guides, and informative Help Center content.
  • Partner with product and engineering departments to enhance HR services via technology, reducing administrative workload and improving compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing HR support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of human resources best practices.
  • Experience handling employee claims related to unemployment, leave/disability benefits, workers’ compensation, and grievances.
  • Excellent organization and project management capabilities, with attention to detail, time management, and quality work execution.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, especially in client-facing contexts.

Preferred Skills

  • Fluency in additional European Union languages is advantageous.
  • Previous experience with benefits and pension plan administration is preferred.

Additional Information

Rippling is dedicated to diversity and inclusion, providing equal employment opportunities without discrimination on any legally protected grounds. The company strives for equal access and offers reasonable accommodations for candidates with disabilities during the recruitment process. Requests for accommodations can be submitted via email.
