Backed by leading investors such as General Catalyst and Y Combinator, Finni Health is experiencing rapid growth and seeks motivated professionals ready to innovate within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

The HR Business Partner role requires expertise in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and healthcare industries to aid in workforce development, support, and scaling across multiple states. Serving as a trusted consultant for practice owners and practice success managers, this position focuses on fostering a compliant and people-centric organization by balancing strategic guidance with practical implementation. This includes navigating complex healthcare employment laws, supporting both clinical and non-clinical team members, and leading initiatives that promote employee success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the principal HR liaison for practice owners and success managers, cultivating trusted relationships throughout various states.
  • Offer advice on employee relations, performance evaluation, organizational structuring, and workforce planning.
  • Guide managers in implementing effective people management, resolving conflicts, and developing teams.
  • Collaborate with leadership to interpret business objectives into workable HR strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws at federal, state, and local levels across all operational regions.
  • Keep abreast of healthcare and ABA-related regulations, licensure necessities, and compliance standards.
  • Oversee administration of leaves of absence including FMLA, state-specific mandates, and ADA accommodations.
  • Assist in audits and respond to regulatory requests as required.
  • Promote an inclusive, positive, and mission-driven culture within a distributed workforce.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding to guarantee a uniform and excellent employee experience.
  • Examine HR data such as turnover rates, employee engagement, and hiring timelines to identify enhancement opportunities and report these findings to leadership.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to align recruitment efforts for clinical and operational positions.
  • Maintain precise employee records, ensuring data accuracy in the HR information system (HRIS).
  • Contribute to development, documentation, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in compensation analysis and total rewards strategies alongside the HR Manager.

Qualifications

  • Between 3 to 5 years of growing HR experience, including at least 2 years playing an HR Business Partner or generalist role with HRBP duties.
  • Hands-on experience in ABA therapy, behavioral health, or within healthcare or clinical services settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to support personnel across multiple states, with comprehensive understanding of multi-state employment regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Current HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
  • Strong skills in employee relations with the capability to conduct sensitive investigations and resolve issues discreetly and consistently.
  • Adaptability to work efficiently in a fast-moving, expanding organization that encounters uncertain and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities, with skill in influencing stakeholders without formal authority.

Preferred Experience

  • Supporting Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT), or other licensed clinical staff in staffing or clinical management roles.
  • Understanding of ABA credentialing processes, BACB standards, or CASP guidelines.
  • Familiarity with the Rippling HRIS platform and other tools like Notion or Pylon.

Compensation

The salary offered ranges from $72,000 to $84,000 annually.
