Job description
Role overview
This is an HR business partnering opportunity with a respected premium hospitality group in Dublin City. The position is designed for someone who wants to have a real impact on the business by working directly with operational leaders across multiple locations.
The role is practical and people-focused, suited to an experienced HR professional who is comfortable handling complex employee relations work in a busy, fast-moving setting. The employer is open to either a standard five-day week or a four-day week arrangement for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a partner to operational managers across the full employee lifecycle.
- Handle complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes, grievances, performance concerns, absence cases, and investigations.
- Guide and coach managers on Irish employment law and effective HR practice.
- Take employee relations cases through to closure, including preparation for WRC matters when needed.
- Support change initiatives, employee engagement activity, and performance improvement work.
- Develop strong working relationships with managers and provide commercially sound HR guidance with confidence.
What the employer is looking for
The ideal candidate will bring previous experience in a HR Business Partner, People Partner, HR Manager, or Senior HR Advisor role. A strong background in employee relations is essential, particularly the ability to manage complex cases independently.
Experience with WRC cases and knowledge of Irish employment legislation are important. The employer is also looking for someone who has supported operational teams in hospitality, hotels, retail, foodservice, or another multi-site, fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable influencing and challenging managers when needed, while also coaching them effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust at all levels are key.
Benefits and offer
- Salary of €60,000 to €70,000, based on experience.
- Option of a 4-day or 5-day working week.
- Hybrid working arrangement.
- Based in Dublin city.
- Chance to join a well-regarded hospitality business with a strong people-first culture.
- Broad HR scope with genuine autonomy and business partnering responsibility.
