Job description
About the Role
We are collaborating with a globally renowned technology company to recruit a senior-level social strategist who excels at transforming business goals into impactful social strategies that foster engagement, sway audiences, and inspire outstanding creative output. This unique role involves shaping social strategy across the EMEA region, aimed at professional business and enterprise sectors, operating at the junction of brand, product, content, and communications.
In this position, you will craft narratives, messaging, and audience plans that support major enterprise products while ensuring relevance across diverse regional markets. Unlike social media management, this is a strategic leadership role where you will decode complex audience dynamics, develop top-quality creative briefs, influence senior stakeholders, and guide agencies and content creators to deliver exceptional projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and define social strategies, messaging frameworks, and audience narratives specifically for the EMEA market.
- Translate business objectives and product priorities into compelling and clear creative briefs.
- Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Communications, and Content teams to execute integrated campaign initiatives.
- Leverage audience insights, performance analytics, and cultural trends to continuously optimize strategic approaches.
- Provide mentorship to social strategists, elevating the strategic capabilities and standards within the team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in strategic roles focusing on planning or social strategy.
- Experience gained in agency settings, established brands, or platform companies.
- Proven expertise in developing strategies for technology sectors, enterprise clients, or B2B markets.
- Exceptional skills in stakeholder management and delivering persuasive presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to produce creative briefs that empower innovative and effective creative output.
- Experience in leading teams or mentoring junior colleagues.
- Strong analytical abilities combined with passion for insight-driven creativity and performance optimization.
Particularly beneficial is experience with AI products, emerging technologies, or brands operating within the AI industry.
Additional Information
- Competitive annual salary of £120,000.
- Hybrid working model requiring two onsite days per week at Shoreditch office.
- Initial contract engagement with the potential for extension or transition to a permanent position.
