Position Overview
We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to collaborate with managers and employees in a dynamic, rapidly growing environment. This position within our global People Operations team works closely with HR colleagues, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders to deliver comprehensive HR support throughout the employee journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management to enhance leadership skills, particularly in performance coaching, change management, handling difficult conversations, employee relations, and fostering team effectiveness.
- Offer daily HR assistance covering onboarding, performance evaluations, training, benefits administration, leave processing, and employee transitions.
- Play a role in critical People Operations activities such as merit and bonus reviews, employee mobility, HRIS management, and offboarding.
- Work with global People Operations teams to bolster employee engagement, talent growth, succession planning, and retention aligned with our culture and values.
- Advocate and implement practical, flexible solutions that improve workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and employee experience.
- Create, update, and communicate HR policies, processes, and best practices with an adaptable and service-oriented mindset.
- Maintain compliance with employment laws, internal policies, training mandates, and sensitive documentation, including confidentiality agreements.
- Develop strong relationships at all management levels and escalate matters when necessary.
- Serve as a trusted, confidential partner to employees, managers, and the wider HR team.
- Contribute to additional People Operations projects and initiatives as required.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or a comparable People Operations role with exposure to employee relations, talent management, compensation, performance oversight, onboarding, and recruitment functions.
- Proven success in fast-paced, evolving environments, preferably within technology, financial services, or similar sectors.
- Strong understanding of business needs with the ability to translate challenges into HR strategies.
- Demonstrated capacity to establish trusted relationships and exert influence within global matrixed organizations.
- High degree of judgment, discretion, and comfort managing confidential matters.
- Excellent communication, active listening, interpersonal abilities, problem-solving skills, and resilience when dealing with ambiguity.
- Strong prioritization, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with employment law, HR compliance, and industry best practices.
- Experience with HR systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, Culture Amp; knowledge of collaboration tools like Confluence and Jira is a plus.
- Keen interest in expanding expertise across People Operations functions including benefits, payroll, mobility, immigration, and compensation.
- A good sense of humor and enthusiasm for being an integral part of a People Operations team culture.
