About the Role
We are looking for an HR Assistant to join a dynamic hedge fund based in Mayfair, London. This generalist position covers comprehensive involvement throughout the entire employee lifecycle, emphasizing onboarding, employee relations, HR systems management, and general HR operations. The role offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a people-centric function within a discreet and high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily HR operations supporting all stages of the employee lifecycle.
- Lead and oversee onboarding initiatives to ensure a smooth and personalized experience for new hires.
- Serve as the primary contact for HR inquiries and provide support to employees.
- Support employee relations matters, including documentation and follow-up activities.
- Maintain precise HR records and assist in managing HR platforms such as Workday.
- Coordinate recruitment efforts, including organizing interviews and communicating with candidates.
- Assist with HR reporting duties, ensuring data accuracy and performing basic data analysis.
- Contribute to HR projects, policy revisions, and enhancing internal processes.
- Support performance evaluation processes, training programs, and overall HR administration tasks.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in HR assistant or HR generalist roles.
- Demonstrate a solid grasp of onboarding procedures, employee relations, and HR workflows.
- Highly organized, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal capabilities.
- Adaptable and proactive, thriving in fast-paced environments.
- Discreet and professional, capable of managing sensitive information responsibly.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen focus on process enhancements.
Skills Required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience using HR information systems like Workday or comparable platforms.
- Exposure to recruitment processes and HR administrative duties.
- Comprehensive understanding of the employee lifecycle.
