Role Overview
In this position, you will oversee core HR and administration activities end to end. The role covers payroll support, employee lifecycle administration, and compliance, while also contributing to organisation design, recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, performance processes, employee relations, engagement initiatives, and workplace risk management. You will ensure alignment with labour legislation and internal policies, and help strengthen health, safety, and people-related controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Support business-focused organisational design through workforce analysis, role definition, and capability mapping across the business unit.
- Run full-cycle hiring using data-led recruitment methods, market insight, and modern sourcing approaches to attract strong talent.
- Improve the onboarding journey so new joiners settle in quickly, become productive sooner, and connect well with the culture.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on learning and development results, connecting skill-building efforts to business outcomes and future capability needs.
- Support performance management cycles by sharing insights, tracking progress, and enabling constructive performance and growth discussions.
- Handle employee relations matters in a timely, fair, and consistent way, with attention to trust and regulatory compliance.
- Plan, deliver, and assess engagement initiatives using feedback, pulse surveys, and analytics to improve retention and employee experience.
- Ensure policy compliance and sound governance by translating HR policies into clear, practical processes for employees in the business unit.
- Drive people-risk and workforce-risk actions by identifying issues early and working with leaders on mitigation plans.
- Promote health, safety, and environmental standards by embedding accountability, wellbeing, and safe working practices.
- Take care of administrative tasks efficiently and accurately, ensuring all outputs are timely, compliant, and aligned with organisational needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Business Administration
- SHRM, CIPD, or a similar professional qualification is considered an advantage
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong understanding of Qatar labour law
- Fluent English is required; Hindi and Arabic are beneficial
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office 365, especially Outlook and PowerPoint, with Excel preferred
- Comfortable using digital tools and willing to learn and adopt new systems quickly
- Exposure to AI-based productivity tools, or a strong interest in working with them
- Ability to align HR priorities with business objectives
- Supports a positive, inclusive workplace culture
- Maintains confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in HR operations
- Contributes to transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Uses HR analytics to support decision-making
- Builds trust through clear and open communication
- Applies analytical thinking with digital tools to interpret information and present practical insights
Experience
A minimum of 6 years of experience in a multinational organisation is required.
