Role overview
This role sits within Amazon’s Central Time Keeping Support function, which provides HR assistance to employees, applicants, and candidates around the world. The team focuses on time-off, leave balances, and other attendance-related matters. As an HR Administrator, you will work in a back-office support capacity, handling incoming requests from different stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
The position calls for someone who communicates with care, builds positive relationships with employees, and handles sensitive situations with professionalism, tact, and discretion. Strong ethics, confidentiality, multitasking ability, and a willingness to adapt to changing policies, tools, and business needs are all important for success in this role.
Key responsibilities
Support time recording and HR data operations with accuracy and consistency.
- Review and maintain entries in time-tracking systems, including absence and time-off reasons for employees based in Germany.
- Update and verify personal as well as billing-related information in HR information systems.
- Prepare and share required data promptly with local HR support teams for further processing.
- Create, monitor, and manage reports, evaluations, and statistics.
- Respond to queries raised by employees, managers, and HR teams.
- Take part in initiatives aimed at improving processes or specific workflow steps.
Required profile
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least 6 months of experience in human resources. The role also expects comfort with HR processes and systems, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping service quality high.
Preferred experience
Exposure to HR tools and platforms such as MyTime, OnBase, ICIMS, HireRight, SalesForce, PeoplePortal, FCLM, Labor Scheduler, AMP tool, and ticketing systems will be an advantage. Experience in technical support or in operating highly available distributed systems for data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large datasets is also valued.
