Role overview

Amazon is looking for a customer-oriented HR Administrator to join its Central Time Keeping Support team in Indiana, United States. This fixed-term position runs for 12 months and sits within a fast-moving support environment focused on helping employees, applicants, and candidates across the globe. The role centers on handling time and attendance queries, including time off, balances, absences, and related HR issues.

In this back-office HR support role, you will manage incoming requests from multiple stakeholders while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and a strong service mindset. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator who can build trust with employees, handle sensitive situations with professionalism, and stay organized while balancing competing priorities. Key responsibilities

  • Review and maintain records in timekeeping systems, including absence and time-off reasons, for employees based in Germany.
  • Update and verify personal and billing-related information in HR information systems.
  • Prepare and share data on time with local HR support teams for downstream processing.
  • Create, monitor, and manage reports, evaluations, and statistics.
  • Respond to questions and requests raised by employees, managers, and HR teams.
  • Contribute to projects aimed at improving existing processes or specific process steps.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • At least 6 months of experience in human resources is required.
  • Experience working with HR processes and systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with tools and platforms such as MyTime, OnBase, ICIMS, HireRight, SalesForce, PeoplePortal, FCLM, Labor Scheduler, AMP tool, and ticketing systems is preferred.
  • Experience with highly available distributed systems for data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large datasets, or a background in development or technical support, is preferred.
